Futures Trading vs. Traditional Asset Trading

The investment market is flooded with AI investment software claiming to provide the secrets needed to be wealthy. As we built ProfitVest AI, we researched and tested many of these products firsthand. What we found is that nearly all of them share the same fundamental limitations — limitations that don't apply to ProfitVest AI, because ProfitVest AI is a significantly different than “AI” software packages that manually run on your PC, with manual trading performed by you each day.

High Up-Front Costs

There are a multitude of new AI software packages on the market, and most are very expensive — often $10,000 or more. Many then offer add-ons, hot tips, and additional strategies that cost even more. One AI package we recently reviewed had a special introductory offer of $28,000.


You Still Have to Buy the Investments

None of the AI software packages we reviewed include the cost of purchasing the investments themselves. That means an investor is often $10,000 to $28,000 in the hole before they place a single trade.

 

Dedicated Hardware

Most of these packages need to be installed and run continuously on a personal computer to monitor markets and positions throughout the day. In practice, this means buying a dedicated computer just to run the software — another cost on top of the cost of the software itself.


Extensive Personal Learning Required

These packages are not easy to use. Most require hours of online courses to learn the software, and then additional time to learn the trading strategies the software relies on. We attempted to use several different AI software packages (often with AI "bots.") Quite simply, they were not easy to use and did not show much promise of achieving the advertised monthly profits, without significant investment trading expertise. These are not turnkey solutions.
